Delete your GLISSA account

1. Two ways to delete your account.

• In-app (fastest): open GLISSA → Settings → scroll to Delete account → confirm. Your account and personal data are removed immediately and you are signed out on all devices.
• Web / email (no sign-in required): send an email from the address you used to register to legal@antarjyotineurosciences.com with the subject line "Account deletion request". We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 7 days (and no later than 30 days, as required by GDPR / DPDP / CCPA). We will email you a confirmation once it is done.

2. What is deleted. When you delete your account we permanently remove:

• your account record (email, hashed password, Google OAuth identifier if used);
• your profile and preferences (onboarding answers, chosen protocols, default sound bed, headphone preference);
• your sleep-session history (protocol, duration, completion, self-reported mood);
• your subscription/customer record stored in our database;
• any support messages and attachments held in our systems, on request.

3. What is retained, and for how long. The following data is kept for the limited periods below because we are legally required to keep it (tax, accounting, fraud, anti-money-laundering, dispute resolution). It is access-controlled and not used to re-identify or contact you:

• Payment & tax records — 7–8 years, as required by Indian tax law and equivalent foreign laws. Held by Google (Play Billing) and Apple (App Store) as independent controllers under their own privacy notices.
• Abuse / fraud / security logs — up to 24 months, in pseudonymised form, to protect the Service and other users.
• Backups — encrypted backups are overwritten on a rolling 30-day cycle; your data is purged from backups within that window.
• Aggregated, de-identified analytics — retained indefinitely; cannot be linked back to you.

4. Cancel your subscription first (optional but recommended). Deleting the account does not, on its own, cancel an active paid subscription with your payment provider. If you have an active subscription:

• Android (Google Play): open Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → GLISSA → Cancel.
• iOS (Apple): Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → GLISSA → Cancel Subscription.
• Or email support@antarjyotineurosciences.com and we will cancel for you before deletion.

5. Withdraw consent without deleting. If you only want to withdraw consent for a specific processing activity (e.g. optional product emails) without deleting your whole account, email legal@antarjyotineurosciences.com or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6. Minors. GLISSA is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age of digital consent in your country). If you believe an account belongs to a minor, email legal@antarjyotineurosciences.com and we will verify and delete it without requiring sign-in.
